A great sales letter has the capacity to convert many leads from just being "curious on-lookers" to excellent downlines in your company.However,many a times most of us over-sell our opportunities and "scare" away the would-be downlines.
There are many factors that can affect our sales letters but the most common mistake made is the use of forward-looking statements in our sales letters.The statements are subject to certain risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from those expressed or implied in the forward-looking statements.
Factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from those expressed or implied in such forward-looking statements include;
- the amount of investment required in terms of money or time
- the level of committment required from the leads
- the amount and level of training or coaching required
- if any or no level of prior experience required
- the level of performance required
- changes in state or federal legislation or regulations
- general economic conditions and inflation
For great success ,a great sales letter should be "honest" and the truth should be depicted.The use of statistics should be limited to only the "necessary" statistics required to reinforce the point being made in the the sales.I recommend the use of testimonials that are only credible and relevant to the sales speech made.The testimonials should be just sufficient to drive the point home.Again not too many testimonials should be used.
Remember,a good sales letter should have great language skills such as correct grammar,spellings,tenses,punctuations,etc.
The use of graphics should be avoided or else may scare the leads.However,if graphics are used,they must be perfect ,minimal and professional.Too many bells and whistles in any sales letter may damage its reputation very easily before the eyes of the readers.
Sales letters have become common and are increasing being used in net-work marketing to attract leads or in advertising to promote products and services.These sales letters may be send in a form email or press release,or a blog,and/or an article.
How do we identify forward-looking statements?
Forward-looking statements in our sales letters can be identified through the use of words such as 'may","would","intend","should","estimate","believe","possible","project","plan","expect","anticipate","could',and "will".
To create a good sales letter that converts try to avoid the use of some of the words mentioned above and watch the great success your sales letter brings to your company.

There's nothing wrong with this, but I personally prefer to employ online techniques, which are just as effective, if not more so. Ezine advertising in particular is, in my opinion, one of the best ways of growing your online business.Listen... to make money, you have to promote your business... You have to get the word out! Ezine advertising is an extremely easy way to promote your website to thousands of people simultaneously and start making sales without experiencing rejection. With ezine advertising, you'll never hear from the people who say "no" to your offer. It's easy, painless and extremely profitable! If you want to start arning the big bucks that are available to you right now, then roll up your sleeves, make the commitment and start advertising your sales page today!
An ezine is simply a newsletter delivered in electronic format, via email, to opt-in subscribers who have chosen to receive it. The content of these ezines usually focus on a particular subject, therefore, by identifying ezines whose readers would be interested in your web opportunity, you can access a highly targeted market through paid advertisements in these ezines.

There are various types of advertising available in these ezines, that cater for all budgets. Some ezines even provide free classified advertising for it's subscribers. However, for greater results you will want to purchase advertising space in these ezines. Generally,you pay for space to place your ad at the top of the ezine, in the middle, or at the bottom. So don't just target ezines with high readership, try out ezines of varying sizes and test the responsiveness of each one.

A good way of finding out how responsive an ezine is is by
finding out from the ezine owner how soon your solo ad will be sent
out. If you find that it will go out almost immediately,then you know that there isn't a long list of advertisers waiting for their ad to run, but if you find that there is a waiting period of at least a few weeks, then you at least know that advertising in their ezine is in great demand, so must be quite responsive.

Finally, if you want to successfully promote your opportunity online, then advertising in ezines, particularly through solo ads, is one form of advertising any serious online or web marketer should consider and I strongly recommend this method of advertising.

I am using ezine advertising regularly as part of my overall promotion strategy to build my online presence in the various programs that I'm currently involved with.
